RentJolt: New NYC Apartment Rental Website Offers Slightly Lower Broker Fees
A new website called RentJolt launched this year with a new spin on the NYC apartment rental game. Owners can list their apartments and apparently collect up to $1000 when it rents, and renters pay "only" a 5.75% fee to when signing a lease, as opposed to a one month fee, which usually comes to about 12-15%. A great resource called SocialBakers released a very cool infographic about the Facebook activity of 2011.
I found it interesting/amazing/scary that Facebook grew 7 users per second of all 2011.
I was recently in Argentina & although the daily routine/schedule and pace of life differs from a New Yorker, people where using Facebook for everything.
Although they are not the top country, i still say everyone on there mobile phone looking things up on Facebook and at the hotel, the front desk used it as a resource to recommend restaurants...WOW.
